Welcome!

Welcome to the official blog for our book club! I know I personally have never been in a book club before, and I am so pumped to finally be a part of one! This blog will function as an extension of our club. Conversations cut short at club meetings can be continued here. As time goes on, I am sure we will find many ways to utilize this blog.

I have tentatively named the blog after our favorite piece of paper work: the PAF. Personnel Analyzing Fiction (we can analyze non-fiction, too) is not a name that has to stay, so if anyone has another idea, please feel free to let me know. I can even post a poll on the blog here and we can vote if we get a few good suggestions.

Below I have listed some things we will discuss our first meeting. During our first meeting we will also discuss our first book, so I’m providing these questions now so when we meet, we can expedite the process of setting things up.

· Who will lead the book club meetings?

· Will it be the same person every time, or the person who suggested the book?

· Is there a price limit to the books we'll be reading? Paperbacks only, for instance?

· Who will keep a record of all the books read, when they were discussed, and who suggested them?

· Where will meetings be held? In the same location, at the home of that meeting's leader, or in a community room somewhere else, like a library?

· Will refreshments be served? (I vote yes!)

· How will we choose the list of books we will read?

And, I know this is common sense but I have to say it: Be sure to not post any spoiler's on here--we'll all be reading at different paces so be careful to not give away any big moments of the books!
